Dear NATE Colleague,
I’m pleased to announce the NATE Spring Kallah
2008 that will take place March 7 – 9, 2008 in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. The
theme for our gathering will be T'filah With Intention: Balacing Keva, (fixed
prayers) and Kavanah, (intention of the prayer) and I'm thrilled to welcome
Cantor Ellen Dreskin as our scholar-in-residence for the
weekend.
Participating in a NATE Kallah is an
exceptional opportunity to learn with other NATE members in a smaller, more
intimate setting, to get to know colleagues in a deep and meaningful way, and to
form new and lasting relationships. This Kallah also gives us the opportunity
to share Shabbat together, bringing our theme to life in a very participatory,
hands-on way. The stunning St. Julien Hotel and Spa, literally at the foot of
the Colorado Rocky Mountains, will provide a spectacular backdrop for our study
together.
I look forward to seeing you in
Boulder !
